Raised in Watts as the youngest of six siblings, she grew up surrounded by the rich cultural diversity of her community, which deeply influenced her passion for education, creativity, and empowerment. A talented poet, educator, and multi-disciplinary artist, Semajae's journey began at the intersection of art and education. She honed her skills in acting, singing, modeling, and dancing while attending the Black Eyed Peas Peapod Music and Arts Academy and further refined her craft through the prestigious Get Lit Youth Poetry Program. Semajae graduated from El Camino College as a high honor student and earned her cosmetology license soon after, demonstrating her dedication to excellence and education.
